3rd meeting of mountain populations in the world. WMPA. September 25 - october 2, 2010 in Oloron-Sainte-Marie (Pyrenees, France)

 

From the Himalayas, the Caucasus, the Andes, the Alps, the Pyrenees .... Over thirty delegations of the massifs of the world gathered from September 25 to October 2, 2010 in Oloron-Sainte-Marie in the Pyrenees, at the 3rd International meeting of mountain people organized by the World Mountain People Association WMPA. The meeting allowed the development of the Oloron Manifesto that says loud and clear that "the mountain time here!".

To enhance the 3rd meeting of Oloron, Almedio Consultants carried out a series of products availables on our site:

1. Realities from mountain people

A book of 103 pages, comprising a series of 17 interviews conducted by the team Almedio to mountain communities leaders present at the meeting as well as researchers and specialists working in the recovery of mountain areas, the management of natural resources and the challenges for the organization and strengthening of the word of the mountaineers.

Global Cafés made by Empodera Consultores during the meeting at Oloron Sainte-Marie
